As the world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and brand market leader in Europe, South America and southern Africa, MSC Cruises is constantly searching for innovative ways to deliver meaningful guest experiences. Their new private paradise, Ocean Cay, presented a new opportunity to do this, but not without a few challenges.


The Project: MSC Ocean Cay

The Challenge: Streamline Programming & Deliver Meaningful Experiences

What Spark Did: With a 95-acre island on hand, Spark saw the opportunity to design guest experiences that would leave them with unforgettable memories and a desire to return. Behind the scenes, GO by Spark technology allowed for efficient programming of all of activities, streamlining the usually time-consuming process. 

The Results: GO by Spark technology cut the programming time in half for staff, maximized guest touchpoints and allowed for enhancements in the guest journey. Identifying new opportunities to engage with guests, Spark created and implemented the 'Painted Skies' Kite Festival and ‘Sand Duels’ Relay Race - both unique experiences that cultivated authentic and memorable experiences between families and friends wanting to enjoy their time in paradise.
